Sutjeska is looking for the right form for Europe on Zlatibor, and it seems that they are real rivals - the team from Nkišić played a goalless match with OFK Belgrade today, and on Tuesday they will face one of the best teams in the region, Red Star.
In the duel with the club from Karaburma, a team that finished the last season of the Serbian Super League in fourth place, Sutjeska had two great chances through Balša Tošković.
Coach Milija Savović gave a chance to all the players, including the reinforcements who arrived in Bistrica this summer - Marko Šimun, Aleksa Golubović and Medo Juković.
Sutjeska started with Giljen - Golubović, Đukanović, Kopitović, Đinović - Šimun, Krstović, Juković - Kalezić, Tošković, Miljanić, while later Stojan Vukčević, Vlahović, Dedić, Aničić, Pajović, Kecojević, Nikčević, Ivan Vukčević and Eraković also got a chance.
"It was our first test against a strong opponent in which all players got a chance, mostly for 45 minutes - we are slowly adjusting, considering that the team has undergone serious changes. I can be satisfied with what we have seen - we continue to work and put the team together. We are only at the beginning," said Savović.
After the game with Red Star, his team will also face matches against Spartak Subotica and Dečić on Zlatibor.
They will have their first European challenge on July 10th against Dinamo Brest in the 1st round of the Conference League qualifiers.
