Buducnost began an era without Ivan Brnović - they defeated local team Mura 2:1 in a friendly match in Slovenia.
In front of about 150 spectators in Moravske Toplice, the "blues" celebrated with a score of 2:1, with goals from Ivan Bulatović in the 15th minute and Petra Grbić in the 69th minute. Mura reduced the deficit in the 75th minute.
The match was led from the bench by Brnović's former assistants - Srđan Nikić, Mihailo Tomković, Ivan Delić...
"We can be satisfied with the match against Mura, because the team seems to be getting better and better from match to match and we are slowly getting in shape for what awaits us," said Mihailo Tomković, a coach on the blue-and-white coaching staff.
This is the fourth friendly match for the "blues" after their victory against Adria in Podgorica (5:0), defeat to Vardar (0:3) and draw with Rapid Bucharest (2:2) in Slovenia.
The match against Mura was started by Domazetović, Grivić, Đuričković, Orahovac, Gašević, Strumija, Piščević, Mičković, Vušurović, Ivanović and Bulatović, while in the second half Mijatović, Dakić, Serikov, Adžić, Vuković, Rakčević, Mirković, Šarkić, Grbić, Mijović, Vujović and Rešetar played.
"We played a real European match, against a quality team from Mura that wants to return to the top of the domestic championship. The most important thing is that all the players are healthy, so we can be satisfied. The reinforcements are slowly fitting into the system and from what we have shown, it is clear that they will be of great help to the team. We continue with our work, we are waiting for the "overall" with Slaven Belupo and the return to Podgorica, where we will complete the final phase of preparations for the start of the Champions League qualifiers," said Tomković.
