Borussia Dortmund defeated Monterrey (2:1) last night and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup.
The "Millionaires" will play Real Madrid in the quarterfinals, who were better than Juventus (1:0).
Dortmund took the lead in the 14th minute, when Girassi, after a pass from Adejemi, was left alone in front of the Monterrey goalkeeper and scored.
Monterrey then threatened through Corona and Deosa, and then Girassi scored the second goal to make it 2:0.
The "millionaires" striker could have scored a hat-trick after half an hour of play, but he failed to capitalize on Bellingham's cross.
Monterrey pulled one back early in the second half, when Berterame headed the ball into the net.
By the end of the match, Korona could have equalized, but was stopped by Kobel, so the score remained unchanged.
