Buducnost players have an active result before the second leg of the first round of Champions League qualifying.
The Montenegrin champion lost 1:0 in Armenia - it could have been different, but the difference was made by a botched goal 20 minutes before the end when goalkeeper Milan Mijatović reacted poorly to Omar's shot from about 20 meters.
Apart from that goal, the best chance belonged to Podgorica. Igor Ivanović missed in the 34th minute when he was brilliantly tackled by Ognjen Gašević, and the experienced winger shot straight at goalkeeper Noa Ognjen Čančarević.
Buducnost had several good actions in the second half, conceding a goal at a moment when it seemed unlikely that it would happen, but they have a minus before the second leg.
The second duel with the Armenians is next Tuesday at Gorica, and the winner of this two-legged match will play against Ferencvaros in the 2nd round.
