Driton Camaj new player of Astana

Montenegrin national football team player, Driton Camaj, is a new player for Kazakhstan's Astana.

Camaj has signed an 18-month contract with the Kazakh team. He will play with Astana in the second qualifier for the Conference League, where his rival will be Moldovan Zimbru.

The team is the leader in the domestic championship after 16 rounds with 37 points, one point ahead of Kairat. The team last won the title in 2022.

Camaj left Hungary after five years, where he played for Kisvarda and Kecskemet. During his career, he wore the Inter jersey from Zaprešić, Buducnost, Dečić, Iskra and Lovćen.

He scored two goals in 24 matches for the Montenegrin national team.
