Liverpool have officially expressed their desire to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, British media reported today.
The Merseyside club said that no official offer has been submitted yet, as they are aware that Newcastle's position is that Isak is not for sale.
However, Liverpool have expressed interest in the deal, which would reportedly be worth around £120 million.
Florian Wirtz, Jeremy Frimpong and Milos Kerkez arrived at Liverpool this summer.
