Savović: We are a better team than Dinamo; Vukčević: We got back for our mistakes

Big win for Sutjeska to advance to the 2nd round of the Conference League qualifiers.

The team from Nikšić showed their mettle in Hungary and defeated the Belarusian Dinamo Batumi 2:0 - it wasn't easy after the unfortunate 2:1 defeat at home, but Milija Savović's team showed character and quality in the second leg.

"We repeated the game from the first match, but we were richer for that experience with them. We saw in that duel that we were the better team. Unfortunately, we were unlucky then, that followed us until the very end. However, I told the players to believe that we could score two goals, and that's what happened. All the credit goes to them," said Savović.

Ivan Vukčević came on in the second half and scored a goal for 1:0, later Vasilije Čavor provided the breakthrough.

"We missed a few good chances in the first half, but we got everything back in the second half. We deserved to win, we are the better team," said Vukčević.

Sutjeska will play against Beitar Jerusalem in the 2nd round of the qualifiers. The first match is in Nikšić on July 24th.
