The impression is that it took so little for Buducnost to travel to the rematch with Moldovan champions Milsami with a goal advantage, or two, to be a big favorite to advance to the third round and meet Virtus from San Marino, where they would also be big favorites.

That "little" is hidden in the (non)seriousness with which the people of Podgorica welcomed the European temptations, in the work of the club's management (is there one?), and in the long-standing negligence that has led to the fact that at the moments when Buducnost should be at its strongest, it is actually so decimated and impoverished that even its coach speaks openly about it.

He talked about all the problems that are shaking the club. Nenad Latatovic at a press conference the day before the first game, and all of that manifested itself on the field. Maybe not even to that extent, because Buducnost, despite everything, still has a chance to go through. The question is whether it deserves it, not because of the players and the coach, but because of the way the club has been run and everything that has happened in the past period.

The Montenegrin champion has a huge chance to stay in Europe and to attack the group stage of the Conference League - in the year of the club's great jubilee, 100 years. The draw has also been made and that is why fans are rightly asking - when, if not now?

Unfortunately, this "patched up" Buducnost, depleted of players, weaker than it was last season, does not leave the impression of a club that can achieve a memorable European result this summer, no matter how modest the rival's capabilities, both this one and the next, eventual...

That's why Lalatović and the players will try to pull off a feat in the second leg and advance. A feat - not because of the strength of their rivals, but because of the Budućnost Football Club, because of the people who seemed to have done everything to prevent the Montenegrin champion from advancing further in Europe.

The Moldovans proved to be a disciplined and compact team under Gorica, but modest in terms of players, limited in quality. The problem is that Buducnost did not have the quality to overcome such a rival either. They will have a chance in the second leg, but it will certainly be more difficult.

After the match, Lalatović emphasized that he would not talk about the problems any more (“what I said - I said”), emphasizing that Budućnost is a big enough club to cope. Can the players and coaching staff cope in such circumstances? They still have a chance.

- The players gave their maximum and I congratulate them for that. We lacked composure in the final moments, quality passing, execution, I think we deserved to score at least one goal, to win, but the important thing is that we didn't concede it - said Lalatović.

The second leg will be played on Thursday in the Moldovan town of Orhei. The future will be brighter for the striker Ivan Bulatović, but Milsami should also be stronger for the main trump card We are the same., a point guard from Norway who did not play under Gorica.

Lalatović thanked the fans for their support and promised a strong performance in the second leg.
