She led Buducnost tonight in Orhei against Milsami, had a missed penalty and a great chance that she did not take, but that was not enough for the Montenegrin champion to continue their European journey - the "blues" were defeated by Milsami (2:1) tonight, in the second leg of the second round of the Conference League qualifiers, and missed a great opportunity to make a breakthrough on the biggest stage.
And everything looked so good, when in the 55th minute Ognjen Gašević made a brilliant pass down the left side and assisted Ivan Bojović, who managed to score. The lead of Nenad Lalatović's team lasted 10 minutes, as Jardan equalized in the 65th minute, and then in the 91st Ginsari turned the tables and took Milsami to the next stage, where Virtus from San Marino awaits them.
Buducnost missed its first real chance in the 20th minute - Ivan Bulatović took advantage of Taki's mistake, got in front of goalkeeper Milsami, Timbur, went around him, had an empty net, but he hesitated, so Taki managed to block it. It was a huge chance for Buducnost, after which Bulatović got injured, which is why he had to leave the game.
In the 36th minute, Bojović also tried, and at the end of the first half, the "blues" were awarded a penalty - Timbur brought down Bojović, and referee Alesandro Dudić pointed to the "white spot". Marko Milicković took the ball, but the Moldovan team's goalkeeper stopped him. Then Dudić repeated the penalty, because Timbur was not on the line with both feet, but the outcome remained the same - Milicković again shot to the right, and the goalkeeper of the Moldovan champions once again read where the Buducnost player would shoot.
At the beginning of the second half, the home team had the initiative, but it was Budućnost that reached the goal first - a breakthrough by Gašević and a goal by Bojović for a great celebration. Everything was ideal at that moment, but the joy did not last long...
Buducnost had the advantage for only 10 minutes - the Montenegrin champion lost the ball in the middle of the field in the 65th minute, Milsami started a counterattack, and Jardan checked Domazetović and equalized.
Buducnost then had to take a new lead, the hope of continuing the European dream persisted. In the 78th minute, Petar Grbić had a favorable situation, then Adnan Orahovac headed the goal after a corner kick, and in the 91st minute, Ginsari from the edge of the penalty area shattered Buducnost's dreams.
Buducnost finished the season in Europe. And they had a very good opportunity, which they missed tonight in Moldova.
