Whose colors will Nikola Krstović defend in the new season - it seems that the only thing certain is that it will no longer be Lecce.

The Montenegrin striker was linked with many clubs even before the start of the summer transfer window, and as the start of the new season approaches, the list has been narrowed down to three names - Roma, Atalanta and Leeds again.

Italian media previously reported that Krstović's agent has a verbal agreement with the Roman club, and is allegedly just waiting for the "wolf" to resolve the status of Artjom Dovbik, who is expected to leave the "Olimpico".

"Krstović is on Atalanta's list, but he would immediately say 'yes' to Roma, who have long valued him. The English giant is back in the Premier League, has already brought in seven new players and has ambitions to become a stable member of the elite ranks, and the news that he is back in the race for Krstović was announced by "Tutomerkato".

Krstović was Lecce's best player last season (11 goals, five assists), and the club from "Via del Marea" previously said that they would not cause the Montenegrin striker any problems if he wanted to leave and if the right offer arrived.

According to media from the Apennines, Lecce would release him for 25 to 30 million euros, while sporting director Pantaleo Corvino stated during the summer that Krstović is worth 35 to 40 million.
