Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi is a new player for Paris Saint-Germain, the current European champions announced today.
According to media reports, this 22-year-old defender is coming to PSG in a transfer worth 63 million euros, with additional bonuses.
"PSG is happy to welcome Ilya Zabarny. He will wear the number six shirt and becomes the first Ukrainian player in the club's history," said a statement from the Parisian club, which brought in goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille on Friday.
Zabarnji joins PSG after two years at Bournemouth, having started his career at Dynamo Kiev. He has signed a contract with the French team until 2030.
