It's the third round of the domestic football championship, the summer is still in full swing, Sutjeska and Dečić have emerged with six points each at the top, and in the camp of the current champion, the team Budućnost, there is no way to "cool down".
Ahead of tonight's away game against Arsenal in Tivat, Budućnost coach Nenad Lalatović still doesn't know where his left back is.
Ognjen Gašević Ten days ago, he moved to the Bulgarian CSKA 1948, using a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave for 120 thousand euros, but the new president of the "blues" Boris Spalević issued a statement shortly after, claiming that the transfer had been prevented, in an unknown way.
However, there is still no representative defender.
- Some say he's coming back, some say he's staying, some say he's leaving, some say he's here, some say he's not here. I don't know where he is - said Lalatović, who is also worried about other absences.
- I'm also worried that I can't count on Ivan Bulatović, Igor Ivanovic. We are expecting a tough away game, especially after the defeat against Sutjeska where we literally gave ourselves a goal. We are certainly not thinking in any other direction than to score three points. However, I also have to say that Arsenal is currently ahead of us in the table, with a point more. They are a well-organized team, they play in a 3-4-3 formation, they have their qualities, especially in the transition to half-counter and counter-attack, where two good wing players stand out and Vanja Vučićević in the point guard, whom I greatly appreciate and respect - added Lalatović, who still believes in this team.
- We have to minimize some mistakes so that we can win. Let me go back to how we conceded the first goal from Noa in the Champions League qualifiers here in Podgorica, where five of our players were around one of the opponents, who ended up scoring the goal. We also conceded a goal in the first match, against Milsami from our own possession. No one has outplayed us this season except Jezero in the first half because they were fresher and more rested, and it is also known that they are not our opponents - said Lalatović.
Sutjeska defeated Mornar (3:0) at the start of the domestic championship, and then, four years later, Budućnost (1:0). The team's next opponent Milija Savović is Petrovac, who defeated Nikšić all four times last season, without conceding a goal - 3:0, 2:0, twice 1:0.
4
times - all four times Petrovac beat Sutjeska last season: away at Bistrica 2:0 and 3:0, and twice at home 1:0
The people of Petrovac are in great debt to the people of Nikšić.
- Petrovac is one of the better teams in the league, they have been a stable team for years. It will certainly not be easy for them, but we want to play offensively and try to win, especially since we are playing in front of our fans. We want to continue the series and, after a good result in the derby, continue in this rhythm - said Savović.
Petrovac has started, actually continued in the rhythm of last season, which they finished in second place. Zdravko Dragićević's men now have four points after two rounds, and if they celebrate after Bistrica, they can reach first place.
- Their result from last year obliges us to respect and appreciate them even more, to approach the game seriously. I think Petrovac will be at the top of the table this season and one of the most serious teams - said the Nikšić coach.
Aleksa Golubović arrived in Sutjeska from Petrovac this summer.
- We started the season well, we also defeated Buducnost, which is an additional motivation for us. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, we are all working properly. Petrovac is a quality team, which they showed last season. We are going for victory, for three more points. We hope to continue the series - said Golubovic.
Dečić and Mornar play in Tuzi: the host wants to continue the rhythm that began on the European stage, and Barani to achieve their first victory.
Mladost Lob.Bet will host Jedinstvo Franca at the DG Arena, while Jezero and Bokelj SBBet will play in Berane.
