Nottingham Forest players defeated Brentford 3-1 at home today, in the first round of the Premier League.
The home team's double scorer was Chris Wood, who scored in the fifth minute and in the second minute of first-half stoppage time. Dan Ndoje also scored in the 42nd minute.
The only goal for Brentford was scored by Igor Thiago in the 78th minute from a penalty kick.
In the second round, Forest will play away against Crystal Palace, and Brentford will welcome Aston Villa.
Chelsea players played out a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace in the London derby at Stamford Bridge.
In the 13th minute, after the use of VAR technology, a goal scored from a free kick by Crystal Palace player Eberechi Eze was disallowed, as his teammate Mark Gaye was less than a meter away from the wall when Eze took the shot.
In the second round, Chelsea will play away against West Ham.
