Darkness for Buducnost even in the daytime - Arsenal knocks out the champions in a match that was interrupted due to a floodlight malfunction

A floodlight failure on Sunday night interrupted the Arsenal - Buducnost match, and the champion failed to emerge from the darkness even a day later when the game resumed.

The duel of the 3rd round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League continued from the 51st minute, and thanks to an own goal by Marin Galić, the team from Tivat defeated the champion - 1:0.

Radisav Dragićević's team is still undefeated (two wins and a draw), while Nenad Lalatović is already struggling after two losses in three matches.

The home team needed only ten minutes to score after the match resumed - Galić scored into his own net in the 63rd minute. The new defender of Buducnost wanted to stop Armin Bošnjak who was rushing towards the goal, but he effectively beat his own goalkeeper Filip Domazetović.

The champion tried to come back immediately, and the closest he came was just a few minutes later when Andrej Camaj fired a great free kick, but Bojan Zogović and the crossbar prevented the equalizer.

The Bosnian could have put an end to the match about ten minutes before the end, but his excellently placed ball was stopped by the goalpost this time.

However, Buducnost was far from a definite team, so even one goal from Tivat was enough to decide the winner.

After three rounds, the only team with the highest number of points is Dečić, followed by Arsenal and Sutjeska with seven each - Buducnost holds sixth place with one win.
