Ukraine, then Poland, now it's time for a new page - former Buducnost striker Marko Mrvaljević joined Slovenian side Mura today.
Mrvaljević arrived in Murska Sobota as a loan player from Ukrainian Veres Rivne, after spending the previous season at Polish LKS Lodz, also on loan from Ukraine.
"It's a loan with the option to buy, Marko should help Mura achieve his goals for this season," said agent Matej Špadijer, in whose company the 24-year-old Mrvaljević signed his allegiance to the Slovenians.
And Mura's goals are - survival, if the chance arises, and fighting for Europe. In a league with 10 clubs, there is a thin line between the top and the bottom, and Mura has been successfully "swimming" in strong competition for several seasons, being one of the most stable Slovenian first league teams, and four years ago it played in Europe.
Mrvaljević will try to contribute goals, as he successfully did at LSK Lodz, where he scored six times, with three assists.
Mrvaljević played for Podgorica, OFK Titograd and Budućnost in Montenegro before going abroad.
