Football club Budućnost officially confirmed today - Nenad Lalatović is the former coach, and his place will be taken by Ivan Delić.
Also, Predrag Kažić was officially appointed as the executive director.
"Football club Budućnost AD Podgorica informs the public that Nenad Lalatović is officially no longer the coach of the first team, and his place will be taken by the talented Ivan Delić until further notice. The Board of Directors, headed by President Boris Spalević, which was also attended by the new Executive Director Predrag Kažić, made the aforementioned decision after yesterday's meeting as the best solution for the club at the current moment, and President Spalević and Executive Director Kažić visited the coaching staff and players last night to provide them with support and wish them luck in their work," Buducnost announced.
The club parted ways with coach Lalatović and assistants Milan Vještica and Nermin Useni "in a gentlemanly and friendly manner, with an amicable termination of cooperation. The Board of Directors accepted the resignation of the energetic strategist and assistant with the joint statement that the desired goals were not met, and after the amicable termination of cooperation, our paths diverged, but the friendship remains."
"Budućnost thanks Nenad Lalatović, Milan Vještica and Nermin Useni for the time spent in Podgorica, their effort, energy and professional relationship, and wishes them all the best in their professional and personal careers."
The club, also at the Board of Directors meeting, decided to provide full support to the current assistant Ivan Delić, who will also be assisted by the current assistants Srđan Nikić, Mihailo Tomković, Milivoje Grbović, Veljko Bajković and Ivan Novović.
"Delic is a child of our club and city, and we are convinced that with his talent, knowledge, dedication and love for Buducnost, he will contribute to the stabilization of the team and start the championship locomotive. Thirty-nine-year-old Delic is definitely one of the most talented coaches of the younger generation of Montenegrin football, who has particularly proven himself in the work of our Youth School, as well as in participating in the development of the most talented generation of domestic football - 2006, and the upcoming generation - 2009. Because of all this, he was transferred to the coaching staff of the first team under coach Ivan Brnovic, and now he has been given the chance to - with his associates - lead the first team of the "blues", Buducnost announced.
As a player, Delić wore the captain's armband for Buducnost, was a true representative of the Podgorica football school, won trophies with the blue and white team, was a member of the Montenegrin national team, and an international in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina...
"FK Buducnost will promptly inform the public about all further steps of the club's management, president Boris Spalević and executive director Predrag Kažić, who are determined to return Buducnost to a stable path," said Buducnost.
