Returning to the country where he already left a big mark by winning the double crown - Marko Vešović will play in Croatia again.
The Montenegrin national team player is a new player for Lokomotiva Zagreb - he comes to the club that, like Dinamo, plays its home matches at the "Maksimir" stadium from Qarabag, whose team he has defended since 2021.
"I am very happy to have become a Lokomotiva player. I have been following the club for a long time and I know that they work here seriously and ambitiously. I come with a great desire to help the team with my experience and play, and to achieve the best possible results together. I am looking forward to new challenges and can't wait to play in front of the Lokomotiva fans," said Vešović, as reported by the "Index" portal.
The "falcon" defender has been the champion of Azerbaijan for the past four years in Qarabag and one of the key players in the club.
He originated from Buducnost, and also wore the jerseys of OFK Titograd, Red Star, Torino, Rijeka and Legia Warsaw.
While he was a member of Rijeka, he won the championship and the Croatian Cup and was one of the best on the team then led by Matjaž Kek.
