Nenad Lalatović's short episode on the bench of Budućnost Podgorica ended ingloriously.
After only three championship rounds (a record of wins and two losses), along with two eliminations on the European stage, Lalatović decided to resign, which the club's Board of Directors accepted and appointed Ivan Delić as a temporary solution on the bench.
And while Lalatović is now preparing for a new start at Mladost in Lucan, the disciplinary bodies of the Football Association of Montenegro have not forgotten another outburst he made as coach of Buducnost, after the third round match against Arsenal in Tivat, so new proceedings have been initiated against him.
"On August 18.08.2025, 18, at 30:3 p.m., the match of the 1rd round of the 52st CFL between Arsenal FC and Budućnost FC resumed at the Tivat City Stadium, which was interrupted the day before in the XNUMXnd minute due to a power outage and the inability to power the floodlights. After the match resumed and was played, at the end of the match, the head of the coaching staff of Budućnost FC, Nenad Lalatović, while standing at the penalty area line, turned towards the center of the field, where the match referees were and addressed them with abusive words, and then continued walking towards the locker room," the Disciplinary Commission's report stated.
Let us remind you that Lalatović was sent off in the first round of the Montenegrin championship against Jezera, which resulted in a one-match suspension, so he could not lead the team in the second round derby against Sutjeska.
