Since Andija Bulatović's transfer to French side Lens, which was completed in January this year, Buducnost has only managed to earn 1,7 euros out of the 800 million euros that was the transfer value.

This was said by the new president of the Podgorica club, Boris Spalević, during a guest appearance on Gradska TV.

"We have a situation where the figures for Andrej Kostić, Andrej Bulatović and Vasilije Adžić that appeared in public were not for the club - but for the managers and people who signed such harmful contracts. For Andrija Bulatović, I can say that a contract was signed with Lens worth 1,7 million euros, Buducnost was left with around 800 thousand euros, while the rest went to certain annexes to the contract," said Spalević.

Since the recent transfer of Andrej Kostić to Partizan, whose value is 900 thousand euros, Budućnost has not received a single cent so far, said the head of the Podgorica team's Board of Directors.

"I believe that those installments were poorly made, which is a lack of managerial skills and evil intent. After the signed contract with Partizan, for such a star as Kostić, it would have been logical for us to have received that money, but a contract is a contract and we have to honor it. Partizan got a top player. He left the club for around 900 thousand euros, in three installments, and today with the clauses he is certainly worth over ten million euros," Spalević points out.

He also said that the previous executive director Novak Novaković participated in the signing of those contracts and their annexes.

"Many things in the club are not in accordance with the legal basis, and we are trying to change that and correct things so that FK Buducnost can continue in a healthy rhythm, and all negative events should be left behind. The obstacles I see the most are the accumulated obligations to a large number of players who are no longer in the team. We have a monthly expenditure of between 80 and 100 thousand euros for the contracts of players who no longer have value in the club. The Argentine Strumia, who arrived this summer for 11 thousand euros per month, in my opinion did not meet expectations," he said.

"People have understood that my wish and intention are the best, that I did not come here to receive money, my compensation is zero euros. As long as I am at the club, I will work to help it. As the club president, together with my colleagues from the Board of Directors, I made the decision that urgent cuts must be made, and a proposal to change the Sports Director Dejan Damjanović was initiated. We want to bring refreshment to the club. Personally, I am dissatisfied with the results, we plan to provide salaries to the workers for August," Spalević said, among other things.

He also commented on the departure of the previous coach, Nenad Lalatović.

"Lalatović's statements and media appearances are not at a good level. Buducnost is a brand that will emerge regardless of this situation and we expect to eventually win the title. Lalatović is an experienced coach, he had the opportunity to lead Buducnost in European qualifiers and in the domestic championship, and if we had achieved all the victories that should have been easy, FK Buducnost would be in a much better financial situation today. Football is specific, and time has shown that he has not managed to adapt to our work system," emphasized the president of Buducnost.
