Barcelona coach Hansi Flick will lead the team in their first Champions League match of the season against Newcastle after the European Football Association (Uefa) reduced his punishment for inappropriate behavior.
Flick and his assistant Markus Sorg were each given a one-match suspension for "violating the rules of good conduct" when Barca were eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals by Inter last season.
Following appeals, UEFA postponed the suspensions for a one-year period, but the fines of 20.000 euros each for both coaches were confirmed.
The Catalans will play their first game of the season in the most elite competition on September 18th against the "Magpies" at St. James' Park.
