Montenegrin footballer Vasilije Adžić has delighted football Europe, becoming a hero for Juventus fans, and his goal on Saturday, in the "Old Lady"'s victory over Inter (4:3), is the central topic of sports media on the Old Continent.
The game was in the 91st minute, the score was 3:3, and then Adžić fired a projectile into the "neroazur" net and scored the first goal of his career in Serie A, but also a goal that will be remembered - he received the ball about 25 meters away and fired it towards Jan Zomer's goal from a standing position.
And it reminded many of the goal of another Nikšić native in the Juventus jersey - Mirko Vučinić.
Vučinić played for Juve from 2011 to 2014, had many shining moments in Italy, and one of the most memorable moments happened against Milan, in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, on March 20, 2012.
Juve won the first leg away 2-1, Milan responded in the same way in Turin, so the second leg went into extra time. And then in the 96th minute, Vučinić's magic - from a distance, the Nikšić native fired the ball towards the "rosoneri" goal, setting the final score (2-2) and sending the Turin "black and whites" into the final.
Thirteen years after this goal by Vučinić, Vasilije Adžić, the young Montenegrin football pearl, another Nikšić native, is a hero of Juventus fans.
