The matches of the eighth round of the Meridianbet 1st Montenegrin Football League are being played today.
The clash between Bokelj SBBet and Budućnost (20 p.m.) is attracting attention, mostly because of the state both teams are in. Kotor are last, the only ones without a win, with three points won and three coaches already leading them this season: Vladimir Savićević will have a third chance today to record his first victory.
Budućnost, the current champion, is in a similar position, albeit with five points more than Bokelj, but also five less than the leading Sutjeska, which does not satisfy the ambitions of the Podgorica team. The new coach, the fourth this season, Dejan Vukićević, has a second chance to record his first victory, after a draw with Mornar in Bar in the last round. The “blues” need points like a frostbitten sun, but the Kotorites are also “burning”, which promises a very interesting duel.

Milija Savović's team is first in the standings, but must stabilize their form if they want to remain the most serious candidate for the title: Nikšić was defeated in their last two away games, by Jezera and Dečić.
