Rijeka defeated by Fenjeraš, fans: Đalović is laughing at you

Just one season, the first during which he managed a club independently, was enough to end Dinamo's dominance, to achieve the double crown, and for Rijeka to welcome the European autumn.

Radomir Đalović wrote club history with "Rujevica", but at the start of the new season, after a somewhat slower start, Rijeka's leaders decided to fire the Montenegrin coach.

Victor Sanchez, a well-known player, former Deportivo La Coruna and Real Madrid forward, has arrived, but there are no results, at least at the start. Two rounds, only one point, and a particularly painful defeat at the weekend against Vukovar.

For the newcomer to the Croatian elite, it was the first triumph in the championship, but not enough to move it from the bottom of the table. However, Rijeka's place attracts much more attention, since the champion is only a position above.

It is clear that Sančes needs time, but it seems that the fans have no patience, so after Rijeka announced on social media that they had been defeated by Vukovar (3:2), comments began to pour in, primarily in support of Đalović.

There are also those who want to make room for a new coach.

Meanwhile, Đalović took over Slovenian giants Maribor and got off to a great start. The club, which struggled at the start of the season, has led in two matches so far and won both - against Mura (1:0) and Aluminij (3:2).
