Arsenal footballer William Saliba has agreed to extend his contract with the English club.
Saliba (24) has two years left on his current contract, and under the new deal, he will commit to his loyalty until 2030.
The French defender joined Arsenal in 2019 from Saint-Etienne, where he immediately returned on loan. Saliba was then loaned out to Nice and Marseille, before making his debut for the Arsenal first team in August 2022, making 139 appearances for the club. He has been selected in the Premier League's All-Star Team in each of the last three seasons, and has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Saliba thus became the second Arsenal defender to extend his contract this year, after Gabriel Magalhaes (2029).
