Kiker also writes about Đalović: Three games, three wins, one fight - former Arminia player left after 16 days

Radomir Đalović's successful start in Maribor could not have been better, as the shaken giant of Slovenian football, led by a Montenegrin coach, recorded all three victories, including a record-breaking one in the Cup against Jarovski Dol (13:0).

However, the former "Falcon" striker is no longer the coach of the "purples", he left after only 16 days, after he himself received a blow in an attempt to separate two of his players who were fighting.

The unusual situation was also interesting to the German media, specifically one of the most famous in that country, "Kiker", primarily because Đalović wore the Arminia Bielefeld jersey during his playing career.

"Three games, three wins, one fight - former Arminia player leaves after 16 days," is the headline of Kiker.

As the number three is everything, Đalović is also the third coach to lead Maribor since the start of the season. "Kiker" reminded us that Đalović knew very well that coaches don't stay at "Ljudski vrt" for long.

"Has Maribor been changing coaches frequently lately? I kept that in mind, I didn't ignore it," said Đalović in early September, immediately after he was appointed coach of the most trophy-winning Slovenian club, adding at the time that he 'has no fear' of the task," writes "Kiker", and then emphasizes:

"Just over two weeks and one fight later, the Montenegrin expert has finally packed his bags, and Maribor is facing chaos, as they will have to look for a coach again."

Following the brawl between Omar Rekik and Benjamin Tete, Slovenian media initially reported that Đalović immediately decided to give up everything, as he felt his authority had been undermined, and that he immediately asked the club's management to terminate his contract after the incident. Other reports claimed that the players had apologized to the coach.

Shortly after, Maribor also spoke out, confirming that Đalović had left the "purple" bench, as well as that the incident was quickly resolved, and that the coach immediately sent the players to the locker room and led the training session until the end.

"This is a case that requires additional information," the Slovenian club was explicit.

Radomir Đalović's turbulent year continues, the first in which he worked independently as a coach.

It started with a heavy defeat on the Rijeka bench against Olimpija, continued with history and a double crown in Croatia, qualifying for the group stage of the Conference League, being fired from the club with "Rujevica", and all the way to the last 16 days in Maribor.
