Montenegrin Preston is playing brilliantly at the start of the season in the Championship, the second-highest-rated English competition.
Today, Charlton lost 2-0 at Deepdale, so Preston shares third place with Leicester after nine rounds, three points behind leaders Coventry.
If the league were to end now - and it won't be soon, there are still 37 rounds left - Preston would be playing in the Premier League playoffs.
While Milutin Osmajić is still looking for his goal-scoring form after the September break due to injury (he also missed the national team's matches against the Czech Republic and Croatia), and sat on the bench today, Andrija Vukčević made sure that the Montenegrin players' contribution was great again.
Vukčević played for 77 minutes, and upon being substituted, he received a standing ovation from "Deepdale", and a little later, he was named player of the match.
It didn't take him long to get used to English football, this is only the second match he has played in the starting lineup, after spending the full 90 minutes on the pitch against Hull last week.
Vukčević is, therefore, in competitive form - one less worry for new Montenegrin coach Mirko Vučinić ahead of the away game in the Faroe Islands on Thursday.
Vukčević forwarded the prize money for the player of the match (500 pounds) to the Association of Parents, Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities "Give Us a Chance".
