The biggest derby in Montenegrin football went to the current champion - Buducnost defeated Sutjeska 2:0 away tonight in Niksic, in the 11th round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League, continuing their unbeaten streak in the league and extending the team's winless streak in Niksic.
Since the arrival of Dejan Vukićević, the "blues" have gone five matches without defeat (two wins and three draws). On the other hand, Sutjeska tonight went on to tie its third match without a triumph, and suffered its first defeat at Bistrica this season. Also, Buducnost is unbeaten at Bistrica since September 2021, when Sutjeska celebrated 1:0.
The game in Nikšić was not very good, but Buducnost had better chances, were much better in the second half and deservedly won with goals from Danilo Vukanić and Lazar Mijović from penalties. On the other hand, Sutjeska was very bad, and in the second half they failed to create a serious chance.
The first half was very weak, and Sutjeska had two chances at the start - first in the 11th minute Milan Mijatović saved a shot from Andrija Ražnatović, and a minute later Medo Juković shot over the goal from about 30 meters. And that was all for Sutjeska.
Buducnost threatened in the first half through Lazar Savovic, and took the initiative in the second half. Sutjeska withdrew, Buducnost attacked, and in the 56th minute had a great chance - Mijovic hit the post after entering the game, the ball bounced to Vukanic, who tried to score, but was stopped by Stojan Vukcevic.
In the 74rd minute, Ivan Bojović tried to score an effective goal, kicked with his heel and hit the post, and a minute later the current champion took the lead - Andrej Camaj entered the penalty area from the left, played a pass to Vukanić, who was accurate from about 15 meters.
Two minutes later, Buducnost solved everything - Radoš Dedić played with his hand in the penalty area after a shot by Marko Milicković, referee Miloš Bošković pointed to a penalty, and Mijović scored from 11 meters. After this victory, Buducnost came closer to Nikšić, only a point behind.
The match in Nikšić was interrupted several times because fans of both teams threw pyrotechnic devices onto the field.
Dečić's players defeated Jedinstvo Franca in Tuzi (1:0), took over the lead, and scored in stoppage time.
The game was in the 93rd minute, Balša Radusinović fought well for position, assisting Halil Kajošaj who beat Rijad Džafić.
Two minutes later, Jedinstvo player Miloš Nikolić received a red card, which led to tensions on the pitch.
And before that, there wasn't much excitement. In the first half, Jedinstvo had a chance, when Mirza Idrizović shot wide after Takeru Komija's breakthrough. Draško Božović shot on the other side, and in one situation, Džafić also came out in time to stop Trimror Selimi.
Dečić had a chance in the 55th minute through Radusinović, after him Petar Sekulović tried, Danis Kolić missed a great chance for Jedinstvo in the 80th minute, and then in stoppage time Nebojša Jandrić's team managed to score and triumph.
Petrovac defeated Jezero away (3:1) and recorded its fourth triumph this season.
Nothing significant happened at the Berane City Stadium until the 19th minute. Then Žarko Popović and Nikola Zvrko played a double pass, Zvrko assisting Savo Arambašić, who scored a beautiful goal.
Then there was another lull that lasted until the end of the first half, or rather until the 38th minute. The offside of the Jezera castle failed, Ilija Tučević was late, Petrovac headed towards the rival's goal, and Arambašić assisted Adnan Bašić, who easily scored.
Jezero reduced the deficit in the 70th minute, when Đorđe Maksimović scored his seventh goal of the season after a break and a jam in the penalty area. After that, the home team tried to equalize, had some chances, but Zaim Divanović solved the question of the winner in the 89th minute with a precise shot from about 20 meters.
An important victory was achieved by the Mladost Lob.Bet team, which defeated Bokelj SBBet 3:0 on home turf.
The home team took the lead in the eighth minute at the "DG Arena" - Zvonko Ceklić crossed from the left, and Balša Mrvaljević headed the ball into the net.
Five minutes later, Marko Šćepanović's team doubled their lead. After a break and a scramble in the penalty area, Mrvaljević assisted Rodrigo Emilijo Fausto, and the Argentine found his way to the net.
The final score was set by Anđelko Jovanović from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.
