From the special reporter "Vijesti"
Through low clouds, fog, rain and strong gusts of wind, the Montenegrin football players landed in Torshavn, where they will play their sixth match in the World Cup qualifiers tomorrow (8:45 PM).
They say that landing on the Faroe Islands, in the turbulent waters of the Atlantic, through narrow gorges and fjords, is among the most demanding in aviation and is performed only by specially trained pilots - from Scotland, Denmark, Norway, and of course from the Faroe Islands.
The plane of the Faroese airline "Atlantik", with its crew, arrived in Podgorica specially for the Montenegrin football players - a routine landing after a four-hour flight, but the match will be anything but routine.
Mirko Vučinić is making his debut as a coach, as the main man behind the bench in general - only time will tell how his coaching career will unfold, but the first game will always be special.
Montenegro is not burdened by the result, having lost all chances of competing for the World Cup play-offs last month with defeats to the Czech Republic and Croatia, but Mirko certainly did not arrive unburdened - and he cares a lot about the result in the first game.
They will face handicaps right from their debut, and even an additional one, because the injured list, which includes Jovetić, Janković, Marušić, Vujačić and Lončar, has been joined by midfielder Milan Vukotić, who did not even arrive in Toršaun.
Montenegrin football players will train tonight at the "Torvolur" stadium, on a hybrid surface, which, along with all the playing (and climatic) problems, makes tomorrow's match even more demanding.
