The Montenegrin youth national football team will play a match against Poland in the third round of European Championship qualifiers tomorrow (18) in Katowice.
Goran Perišić's team lost to Italy (2:1) at the start of the qualifiers after a comeback, and then defeated Sweden (2:0) in Podgorica. On the other hand, Poland is at its best after two rounds.
"We're facing a tough match. Poland has shown in the first two rounds that they will fight for first place. They beat North Macedonia and Armenia. I would like us to play like we did against Italy and Sweden. I won't put pressure on the players - I always ask them to give their best, to run and fight, to show their commitment. The result will come in the end," said coach Perišić in the match announcement.
The team will have a different composition compared to the September cycle.
"I am pleased that Andrija Bulatović is with us, and I congratulate Viktor Đukanović, Andrej Kostić and Marko Perović on their invitation to the A selection. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate the cadet team and Radovan Kavaja on their placement in the Elite Round of the European Championship qualifications," said Perišić.
