The young Montenegrin national football team continues its European Championship qualifiers and hopes to repeat its performance from the September cycle.

The October doubleheader is equally difficult for our U21 selection, and the first next test is today - starting at 18 pm, Montenegro will play Poland in Katowice.
- We are facing a tough match. Poland has shown in the first two rounds that they will fight for first place. They have beaten North Macedonia and Armenia, and I would like the most if we could play like we did against Italy and Sweden. I don't want to put pressure on the players, I always ask them to give their best, to run and fight, to show their commitment. The result will come in the end - said Perišić.
After Poland, our players will play against Macedonia in Podgorica on Tuesday, but the team for the October action has been significantly changed compared to the start of the European Championship qualifiers. Several standard first-team players are missing, who have been reassigned to the senior national team.

Bulatović, a midfielder for Lanz, is a reinforcement for the young team. He would certainly have been part of the A team in the World Cup qualifiers, but he was sent off in the previous match, against Croatia in Zagreb.
- Expectations against Poland are the highest possible, as always. We know their quality, but we have a good record in the head-to-head matches and I believe we can celebrate. I hope we will return to Podgorica happy and ready for the double-header against North Macedonia. I am glad to be with the team and to be able to help. It is up to me to justify the expectations and I believe I will do that - Bulatović emphasized.
The defender is optimistic before the match in Katowice Damjan Dakić:
- We are expecting a tough match, just like against Italy and Sweden. We have analyzed the Poles well, we know where they are vulnerable. It will be a hard-fought match and I believe we will show character again and achieve a positive result - said Dakić.
In the same group, North Macedonia and Armenia meet at 5 pm, and Italy and Sweden at 6:15 pm.
