Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique said today, ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, that his team deserves trust, despite the German champions' good form.
"PSG deserves to be shown a little confidence," Enrique said at a press conference.
"At this moment it is clear that they are very strong. The victories in the last 15 games are incredible, while we sometimes have difficulty stringing together three or four triumphs," added the Spanish expert.
Enrique believes that home ground and crowd support will be key factors.
"Tomorrow, at the Parc des Princes, with our fans, we have enough confidence to cope with their pressing," he pointed out.
The PSG coach rejected the idea of using the match against Bayern as a test to assess the strength of his team, which is currently first in the table with a maximum of nine points.
"Do you think I or the fans should evaluate our team? I don't think so, we deserve to have a little trust," said Enrique.
