Gojko Ražnatović is the new coach of Lovćen, the oldest Montenegrin football club announced.
The change on the bench occurred after the Cetinje team's away defeat to Rudar (7:0).
The statement from Lovćen, delivered to Radio Cetinje, is reproduced in its entirety:
"Due to the latest circumstances, the Lovćen Football Club has, with a high degree of agreement, agreed to terminate cooperation with coach Dejan Dapčević and assistant Velibor Matanović, expressing mutual doubts about the regularity and final outcome of the match in Pljevlja and condemning the performance of individuals," the statement reads, adding:
"The club's management is gathering information and will soon publicly name the football players who are reasonably suspected of betraying the club and participating in rigging the match against Rudar. They will be removed from the club and left to the mercy of the competent authorities. Gojko Ražnatović has been appointed as the new head of the coaching staff of the Football Club "Lovćen". We thank the former coaches for what they have done, and we wish the new one much success in his future work. Good luck, Gojko," the Cetinje club said in a statement.
After 15 rounds played in the Meridianbet 2nd CFL, Lovćen is in seventh place with 19 points won.
