The Montenegrin youth national football team is playing against Armenia today in Yerevan in the fifth round of Group E qualifying for the 2027 European Championship.
The Montenegrin national team has a mediocre performance after four rounds - two wins and two losses.
They defeated Sweden 2:0 and North Macedonia 3:2 in front of their fans, and lost away to Italy 2:1 and Poland 2:0.
Coach Goran Perišić said that another difficult match awaits the Montenegrin football players.
"We scouted them and followed the last two or three games. It all depends on us, if we have the right approach like we had against North Macedonia, there won't be any problems. I hope we give our maximum and take the points," said Perišić.
Armenia is without points after four matches played.
Defender Milan Roganović believes that Jerminija is a tough rival, especially when he plays in front of his fans.
"We have analyzed Armenia. Not an easy opponent, especially at home. They are very aggressive, but we were prepared for that. Of course we will not give up, we will give 100 percent. The atmosphere is good and I think it will look good on the field. We are going for all three points," Roganović pointed out.
The duel in Yerevan starts at noon.
The Montenegrin national team will also face Italy in the November cycle, on November 18th in Nikšić.
