Buducnost is in the 17th round of the Meridianbet 1. CFL, losing to Bokelj pod Gorica from Kotor 1:0.
The "blue and white" kept the rhythm for most of the game, had a great chance through Ivan Bulatović in the first half, tried to break through the wall of the well-organized defensive team from Kotor the whole time, and then a reckless move from outside in the 77th minute was fatal for the home team.
"I think that, based on everything we saw, we didn't deserve to lose, but when you don't score a goal from a situation like we had, especially through Bulatović, you can't expect a favorable result. Bokelj came in skillfully to keep the net by waiting for opportunities from counterattacks, we neutralized that for most of the game, but one carelessness after the throw-in cost us the points," said head coach Dejan Vukićević, who added:
"We have entered a process of building a team that will not be easy at all and we are aware that there will be many challenges of a similar type along the way. Simply, the desire and approach were not enough to win. We need a lot of work and patience, above all, we need support for these young guys, as well as additional selection of players. We have a clear strategy and I am sure that we will persevere in it despite the many problems we face," said Vukićević.
After 16 games played, in one of the most even championships since the restoration of Montenegro's independence, Buducnost has 25 points, and there are three more games left until the end of the first part of the season - all three of which the "blue and white" will play away.
Petrovac pod Mali Brdo is already on Saturday, December 6th, followed by Jezero and then the missed match with Dečić.
The leader is Sutjeska with 30 points.
