Manchester City's goal machine continues to push the boundaries - the unreal Erling Haaland scored his 100th Premier League goal in an equally unreal match against Fulham (the city won 5:4).
Even more impressive - he needed the fewest matches of any player in the history of the English elite to achieve such a feat.
Haaland scored in the 17th minute at Craven Cottage, breaking the record in his 111th appearance in the Premier League.
So far, the fastest to reach the "hundred" mark was Alan Shearer, who needed 124 games to achieve such an achievement.
Haaland is followed by other English championship legends such as Harry Kane (Tottenham, 141 games), Sergio Aguero (City, 147) and Thierry Henry (Arsenal, 160).
Haaland became the 35th player to reach the 100-goal mark in the Premier League and is averaging 0,9 goals per game so far. He could one day challenge Shearer's second (highest) record, which is 260 goals in the competition.
He completed the jubilee with 15 league goals this season, with 22 in the 2024/2025 season, then 27 in the 2023/2024 season when the "citizens" won their fourth consecutive Premier League title, as well as an incredible 36 in his debut season 2022/2023, in which an unforgettable treble came to the east of Manchester.
The Norwegian master arrived at the "Ittihad" in the summer of 2022 from Borussia Dortmund, when City activated the clause and brought him in for 60 million euros.
They will talk about Haaland, but also about the match between Fulham and City, in which nine goals were scored and after which the "citizens" (with a match more) came within two points of leaders Arsenal.
