Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be in the squad for Saturday's Premier League match against Brighton, the result of today's talks with coach Arne Slott.
As reported by the BBC, the decision is believed to have been made due to Slot's desire to act in the best interests of the club, especially with several players out due to injuries.
Some issues still remain unresolved and will be dealt with by Liverpool and Salah's agent Rami Abbas while the player is at the Africa Cup of Nations, the BBC reports.
Salah was left out of the squad for the Champions League trip to Inter on Tuesday after saying his relationship with Sloto had broken down and he had been "thrown under the bus".
Salah's performance came after Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Leeds, when the striker was left on the bench for the third game in a row.
Slott said in a press conference earlier today that he "wants Mohamed Salah to stay at the club."
Speaking about the future of the Egyptian, who signed a new two-year contract in April, Slot announced that he would talk to Salah.
"The outcome of that conversation will determine how things look on Saturday," Slot said.
Salah has scored 250 goals in 420 appearances for the Reds.
