Montenegrin national team player and Trabzon player Stefan Savić has been out of action since the beginning of November due to injury. In the meantime, he has recovered and could be ready for the derby of the 16th round of the Turkish championship.
Trabzon will host Besiktas in a derby tomorrow (18), and Savić trained with the team yesterday.
"Savic participated in training. The decision on whether he will be in contention for the squad will be made after tonight's training," writes Sabah Sport.
Savić was injured in the match against Galatasaray on November 1st, when he was substituted in the 51st minute.
Due to the injury, he missed the final round of World Cup qualifiers, four games in the Turkish Super League and one in the Cup.
After 15 rounds, Trabzon is in second place in the table, two points behind Galatasaray and nine ahead of Besiktas, who are in fifth place.
