Footballers from Argentina and Spain will meet on March 27th next year at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, in a match between the two continental champions, UEFA announced.
The match, called "Finalisima", will then begin at 19 p.m. Central European Time.
Spain won the European Championship title for the fourth time in 2024, defeating England in the final, and Argentina, the current world champion, won its 16th Copa America trophy that same year.
The first “Finals” played in collaboration between UEFA and the South American Confederation (CONMEBOL) in 2022 at Wembley, with Argentina winning 3-0 over Italy.
