Hans-Dieter Flick will hold talks with Barcelona about a contract extension.
As COPE.e learns, the Catalans are asking whether the German coach would be willing to extend his contract until the summer of 2028, after Flick announced that he would retire after the 2026/2027 season.
However, Flick is happy with the club and the project, and is particularly impressed with the work of La Masia. In addition, his family likes life in Barcelona.
We should not ignore the great relationships that Flik has built with sports director Deko, as well as club president Gioano Laporta.
What still causes Flick doubts are the elections, as he believes that his future at the club largely depends on Laporta remaining in his current position.
The presidential elections in Barcelona will be held in 2026.
