Flamengo football club today extended the contract with coach Filipe Luis until 2027.
"A positive outcome was only possible because both parties had a sincere desire to continue the project, as well as a mutual willingness to unite interests and build a balanced and sustainable agreement that meets the coach's aspirations, but also the club's management policies established by club president Luis Eduardo Baptista," Flamengo's executive director of football, José Boto, said, as reported by the club's website.
Luis became Flamengo's coach in September 2024, and this year, among other things, he led the Brazilian team to the Copa Libertadores title.
