Nikola Krstović couldn't have wished for a better Christmas - the Montenegrin footballer found himself in Atalanta's starting 11 after a month, and ended his Serie A spell after three and a half months. And he did so with two goals, in an important victory.
The "Falcon" striker shook the net - once with his right and left foot - for the triumph of "La Dee" against Bologna in a difficult away match at "Dal'Ara" (2:0).
Krstović thus reached four goals in the championship, and his first goals since September 21st in the game against Torino.
Immediately after he scored his first goal, Serie A released an interesting statistic related to the goals scored by Montenegrin footballers in the Italian championship, and he says that Krstović is now ahead of Milan legend Dejan Savićević in terms of the number of goals scored.
It was Krstović's 21st goal, and soon followed by his 22nd, while Genije remained at number 20.
The current Montenegrin coach, Mirko Vučinić, is undisputed, having scored 96 goals in Serie A while playing for Lecce, Roma and Juventus.
In second place is the captain of the "Falcons" Stevan Jovetić, who scored 41 goals for Fiorentina and Inter. Adam Marušić is also on the list, but his 14 goals are impressive for a defender.
Krstović scored for Bologna for the first time on an assist from Charles de Quetelare, after which he congratulated the camera on the side of the pitch on Christmas, while with the second goal he showed how ready he was - He "swallowed" Torbjorn Hegem and placed nicely for the triumph.
Inter fans have reason to be happy after the 18th round of Serie A. The team defeated Parma away (2:0) with "Meace" goals from Federico Dimarco and Marcus Thuram, and before that, there was some good news from the south of Italy.
Napoli slowed down, they only played 2:2 with Verona at their stadium (losing 2:0), so the "Nerazuris" are now four points ahead at the top.
City rival Milan is also four points behind Inter, but the Rossoneri play their 18th round match against Genoa at San Siro tomorrow night.
