Otranto's players will embark on their final campaign in the First League on January 19th, when coach Nedeljko Vlahović has scheduled the start of preparations for the second part of the season.
Ulcinj has a great autumn behind it, first place in the Meridianbet 2. CFL standings with two points more than second-placed Grbalj, and a place in the Cup semi-finals, suggesting that the football players from the southernmost city will be thinking in two directions in the spring.
Because they are too close to the Cup final and the trophy game to put the most massive competition on the back burner.
Ranking, or rather returning to the elite, is a priority, and the Ulcinj team will not change what was good - neither the playing staff nor the preparation plan, because they will remain loyal to their city where they have all the conditions to prepare in the right way.
They will also have solid control matches, as other clubs are coming to Ulcinj for training.
"FAP Priboj, Sutjeska, Jezero, Arsenal and NK Gošk," the club's first man, Skendo Redža, listed the list of scheduled rivals in the preparation period.
The people of Ulcinj are also thinking about the future (they hope - the first league), because nine football players born in 2008, 2009 and 2010 will sign scholarship contracts in the coming days.
Otranto will also try to strengthen its playing staff as much as possible over the winter.
"We are in negotiations with some players, but we will not change much - the players we have have proven themselves and we should trust them. Only Pepić has left," Redža points out.
Otrant played in the elite last season - it was a historic season for the Ulcinj team, who failed to maintain their first league status, but want to return as soon as possible.
And they are on the right track, although it is far from everything being resolved: apart from Grbalj, Kom is also threatening, with five points less, and Rudar should not be written off, as they are in fourth place with -7 points compared to the leader.
