The Disciplinary Committee of the World Football Association (FIFA) has fined the Football Association of Montenegro 25.000 Swiss francs for inappropriate behavior of fans, namely the use of pyrotechnic devices, during the match with Croatia, the association announced.
It is stated that the Montenegrin Federation will have to pay another 1.500 Swiss francs in fines for throwing objects onto the field during that qualifying match.
"It was also fined 20.000 Swiss francs (21.466 euros) for discriminatory behavior towards fans. FIFA has designated this penalty as suspended, as it will not be activated if FSCG is part of a project aimed at combating discrimination in the next six months," the association said.
