Arsenal wants a breakthrough in the second half of the season: There are many reasons why we don't have more points

The Tivat Arsenal players began preparations for the spring part of the season in the MeridianBet First League on Monday.

At the first meeting, the players were addressed by Arsenal president Dejan Kandić and head coach Radisav Dragićević.

"I think the hardest part is behind us, which doesn't mean it won't be difficult anymore. I expect full mobility from you and the coaching staff. Those who aren't ready for that can leave. We are not completely satisfied with the points balance and standings. We believe we could all have done more and better. But it's not that bad," said Kandić.

Arsenal is in the relegation play-off zone, with 20 points, five more than last-placed Jedinstvo France.

"Our goal is to survive in the league and I am convinced that we will achieve that. We haven't had much luck. That's why I personally expect a successful spring. Only together can we achieve a lot. And there will be some reinforcements," Kandić pointed out.

Coach Dragićević expects the real Arsenal.

"At the beginning, I will tell you that we will raise our discipline and work to an even higher level. There are many reasons why we do not have more points. I think that despite all the difficulties, we could all do better, from the coaching staff to you. When we all stuck together, we were in the fight for first place. As soon as we started thinking about other things, weaker results came. I am an optimist and I know that good work always pays off. That is why I expect us to be more successful," said Dragićević.
