Mladost Lob.bet's players had a changeable, but ultimately successful autumn - they finished in 6th place in the Meridianbet 1st Montenegrin League, three points short of 4th place, which could bring them a place on the European stage.
The main goal of those returning to the elite is, however, survival without a playoff.
Marko Šćepanović's team will spend the main part of their preparations in their now traditional base in Medulin.
"Mladost has been preparing in Medulin for the past two years and according to the information I have, excellent working conditions await us. We will also have good rivals and I believe we will prepare well," said Marko Šćepanović.
Some of the rivals in the preparations in Croatia, where the team from Donja Gorica will travel on January 22nd, will be Dubrava, Karlovac and Slovenian Kopar.
Mladost has strengthened its squad today with the addition of the goalkeeper of the Montenegrin youth national team, 18-year-old Balša Radanović., and besides him, Nemanja Pavićević from Jedinstvo and Stefan and Veljko Mijović from Kom arrived.
Argentine Miguel Fernando Pereira Rodriguez, Nikola Vukotić, Nikola Ukšanović, as well as young national team player Balša Mrvaljević, who will most likely play somewhere abroad, have left.
An interesting detail from Mladost's preparations is that coach Marko Šćepanović will "miss" one of the two weeks of preparations in Medulin.
Šćepanović will also be staying in Croatia, but in another city - a major football center, Split, where he will complete the necessary internship at Hajduk in the process of obtaining the highest UEFA coaching license - the Pro License.
18 and a half years ago, in the now iconic duels between Buducnost and Hajduk, Šćepanović scored a fantastic goal against the Split team under Gorica, in a 1:1 draw, but that feat is not the "reason" why he chose Hajduk.
"No, it's not," says Šćepanović, with a smile, pointing out that his former teammate and notable Hajduk striker of the last decade, Ivan-Giga Vuković, connected him with the Split team.
During Šćepanović's stay in Split, the team will work under the command of his assistants Luka Tiodorović and Miloš Đalc.
