Alvaro Arbeloa did not make a splash on his debut on the Real Madrid bench, the great was eliminated by Albacete in the round of 16 of the King's Cup, but the young coach seems ready to offer the team something new while serving as interim coach.
Arbeloa, as reported by Marca, wants to calm the passions in the dressing room and will listen to what Federico Valverde asks.
The Uruguayan, in fact, demanded that he no longer play as a right-back, but rather operate exclusively as a midfielder - from there, it is true, he provides his best performances for club and national team.
Valverde, Marka points out, often complained to the club's leaders because Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso forced him to play on the right touchline, with Arbeloa, that option should no longer be a possibility.
Real Madrid have two proven right-backs - Dani Carvajal and Trent Alexander-Arnold, but the problem is that they are often out due to injuries.
"When they are not ready or when none of them can play, Arbeloa will look for a right-back in Real Madrid's youth team," says Marca.
