Aston Villa midfielder Donyell Malen has joined Roma on loan, the Italian club announced today.
Sky Sports reported that Roma paid Aston Villa £1,7m for the loan of Malen, and that the Italian club will have an option to buy the 26-year-old Dutch striker for £21,6m, with the option to buy becoming mandatory if certain conditions are met. Malen joined Aston Villa in January last year from Borussia Dortmund, and has since made 46 appearances and scored 10 goals for the English club.
