If there was any dilemma at all, it is gone now - Vasilije Adžić is not going on loan, he is staying at Juventus.
This was confirmed at today's press conference by the coach of the "old lady" Luciano Spalletti, who spoke in praise of the pearl of Montenegrin football, the guy who moved directly from Buducnost to the ranks of the Italian and European giants a year and a half ago.
Adžić came off the bench in the last three matches in Serie A, against Lecce, Sassuolo and Cremonese.
The footballer who is entering the field, no matter how much, is not planned for loans - a series of appearances was announced, and today the confirmation arrived:
"As far as I'm concerned, there's no doubt about Adžić. He's a player with incredible qualities, potential for the highest level. He just needs to perfect some things, get rid of some others and understand what he needs to gain additional confidence," said Spalletti.
Adžić has played eight games in Serie A this season, starting one. He also scored one goal, and what a winner, from 30 meters, in the big derby against Inter.
He also played five matches in the Champions League, starting in one.
"Adžić has an exceptional shot, moves well and reads the game quickly. Sometimes he can get lost because he doesn't always choose the simplest solutions, but wants something special right away, a move that no one else sees. Then he loses the ball, but that's part of the maturation process," Spalletti said and pointed out:
"Adžić is our hidden treasure. As far as I'm concerned, he's untouchable!"
