The Nigerian national football team defeated Egypt 4-2 on penalties in Casablanca today, securing third place at the Africa Cup of Nations.
There were no goals in the regular 90 minutes, so everything was decided after penalties.
Both teams were not accurate in the first series, as penalties were poorly taken by Fisayo Dele Bashir for Nigeria and Mohamed Salah for Egypt.
Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabili also saved a shot by Omar Marmoush in the second series, which ended up being the key moment in this match.
The final will be played tomorrow at 20 p.m. in Rabat, and Morocco and Senegal will fight for the title.
