Barcelona's players ended their 11-game winning streak in all competitions and lost 2-1 away to Real Sociedad last night in the 20th round of La Liga.
And after the defeat, the Blaugrana coach, Hansi Flick, was, as expected, disappointed.
"I'm not happy. I'm disappointed, we had a lot of chances, and the result doesn't reflect what we saw. But I like how we played. Admittedly, we made mistakes in defense, we need to defend better. We weren't lucky in attack either. Their second goal finished us off," Flik said after the match.
Despite the defeat, the German believes his team should go in the same direction.
"Our game was good. Maybe we could have defended better in a few actions, but I'm satisfied. We've played very well in the last two weeks and we have to continue like that. We have to focus on the next game, which is very important," said Flik.
Flick also said that he agreed with Frenkie de Jong's statement, who said that it was not possible to talk to referee Manzan.
"I agree with De Jong. I'm not going to waste time or energy on that. Frenkie is right. He's calm and he's the captain. He's on the pitch, he wants to talk to him, but he can't. Sometimes I want to talk to the fourth official, but I can't, you have to accept that. I don't know if there's a lack of communication with the referees in Spain, but there's definitely a lack of communication with Manzanar," Flick concluded.
